Our Story
Our story begins with our founder, Yesica Wisdom, a dedicated teacher and leader with a heart for children. For years, she saw the educational system from the inside, witnessing its strengths but also its deepest flaw: a disconnect between a child's academic development and their spiritual growth. Yesica believed that true education should not only sharpen the mind but also nourish the soul. She felt a divine calling to create a space where faith was not an addition but the foundation of all learning.
Little Rivers Christian Learning Center was born from a desire within her family. As a parent and church leader she saw a growing need for affordable, faith-based education where children could be grounded in Christian values during their most formative years. Rather than waiting for a solution, she decided to become the solution. That calling led her on a journey of prayer and preparation. The curriculum was designed to inspire students with Christ-centered excellence, encouraging them to develop traits like integrity, compassion, and perseverance.
Our learning center was not built on a business plan alone, but on a prayer that it would become a light in our community. We started small, with just a handful of students and a boundless amount of faith. Today, that vision continues to guide us as we partner with families to raise a new generation of compassionate, intelligent, and Christ-centered leaders.

Our Vision
Little Rivers Christian Learning Center offers a safe, nurturing, and faith-centered educational environment that promotes the overall development of children from toddler through school age. Guided by Christian values, we strive to cultivate kindness, respect, integrity, and a love for others while building strong foundations in Math, Literacy, Arts, and STEM. Our goal is to prepare students for the next stage of their education while fostering confidence, character, and a mindset for real-world problem-solving.
The Mission
The mission of Little Rivers Christian Learning Center is to expose and challenge the young minds to experience learning that provokes them to think, make connections, build social relationships with peers, express their emotions through language and explore through play. We believe in creating and building our own curriculum that will expose children to learn a variety of skills through themes, stories, music, vocabulary and much more. Allowing us to assess and accommodate learning for children based on their skills and abilities. Our faith is embedded in our curriculum through stories, social interactions and activities, but most importantly it is practiced daily as a lifestyle.
