Policies & Procedures
Below are a few important policies that help us maintain a safe, organized, and effective learning environment at Little Rivers Christian Learning Center. These highlights are intended as a quick reference for families. For a complete overview of all policies, procedures, and program expectations, please download and review the Parent Handbook using the link below.
Pick-up & Drop-off Policies
-
A parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult must physically accompany the child into the facility at drop-off and to the designated pick-up location at the end of the day.
-
Please adhere to your child's scheduled drop-off and pick-up times.
-
Drop off hours are between 8am and 9am. Late arrival after 9am will not be accepted, unless the child will be late due to an appointment. Please provide administration with an excused note upon arrival.
-
Late pick-ups will apply at a fee of $1per minute. Excessive late pick-ups that occur consistently may lead to the dismissal of the program.

Health & Illness Policy
-
To prevent the spread of illness, we have strict health policies in place to ensure the health and safety of children and staff. Children must typically be kept home if they exhibit symptoms that prevent the child from participating comfortably in activities or require medical attention and care. Children must be symptom-free for 24 hours without medication before returning.
-
For a complete list of illnesses, symptoms, and conditions that require a child to remain home, please refer to the Parent Handbook.
Minimum Enrollment Policy
-
Full-Time Enrollment: We encourage families to enroll for all 5 days per week to maximize learning, consistency, and social development.
-
Part-Week Enrollment: Students must be enrolled for a minimum of 3 full days per week. Half-day schedules are not available under the Part-Week option.
-
Dual Enrollment: Children enrolled in another school or program must still be enrolled for full program days at Little Rivers. Tuition is not prorated or reduced based on attendance at another program.
-
For complete enrollment policies and additional details, please refer to the Parent Handbook.
Parent Handbook
The Parent Handbook serves as your primary resource for understanding all Little Rivers policies, procedures, and program expectations. We encourage families to refer to this handbook whenever questions arise, as it provides important information designed to support a positive experience for both children and parents. By following the guidelines outlined in the handbook, we can maintain a safe, organized, and consistent learning environment that allows us to focus on what matters most—helping every child learn, grow, and thrive.
